Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the CTRON platform.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CTRON platform operated by CTRON Technologies ("CTRON", "we", "us"). By registering or using CTRON, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. The Platform

CTRON is a marketplace that connects homeowners ("Homeowners") with verified trade professionals ("Trades"). CTRON facilitates the booking and payment process but is not a party to the service contract between Homeowners and Trades.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. You may not share your account, use another person's account, or create accounts for deceptive purposes.

5. Payments and Fees

CTRON charges a service fee on completed transactions. This fee is clearly disclosed before any booking is confirmed. Exact fee percentages are displayed within the platform.

All payments are processed by Stripe. CTRON does not store payment card details. By using our payment features, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

8. Trade Verification and Conduct

Trades must maintain accurate profiles, current insurance, and valid certifications. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate suspension. Trades must perform work to a professional standard and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

10. Limitation of Liability

CTRON's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid to CTRON in the 12 months preceding the claim. CTRON is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. CTRON is not a party to the service contract between Homeowners and Trades and is not responsible for the quality or outcome of any work performed.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email.
